People call this the OMAD diet. My second 48 hour fast this week. In the example below you would eat lunch on Monday and fast until dinner on Tuesday. Here's my feedback about a 48 hour fast that I did from 7 pm on Friday evening through to 7pm on Sunday evening, (I've just finished this fast). Firstly, why? I wanted to see if I could do this. I was able to carry on with my fasting regimen of 42 hours twice on Mondays and Wednesdays and a 24 hour fast on Fridays each week. Then they fast for 23 hours without consuming any additional calories — not even from beverages. The 2-Day Fast gets you ripped pretty damn fast. They rave about the amazing benefits. It usually goes away into day three and after that, my energy is usually at its peak, my mental clarity and creativity is fantastic, and I feel so much better. A quick cautionary word. I do omad on my working days and 16:8 during holidays as it's hard to resist food when its beside you. yes- still a struggle. I started mixing in 48s and 72s over the last 2-3 weeks and been getting shredded. Some people have low blood sugar and other conditions that may not allow them to fast. That said, we encourage you to continue your healthy, low-carb diet at that meal. Why would people do this? Many people confuse this one with the OMAD diet; however, they are not the same. The same thing happened on month four and five and six as well. That will give you an 18-hour fast with 6 hour eating window. During a fast the body doesn’t spend energy on digestion. It can take a few hours or more for your body to start to make what it needs to break it down.
